About The Team
You will work with a globally distributed team of solution architects, cloud engineers, data engineers, AI specialists, DevOps professionals, project leaders, and business stakeholders.
Our teams collaborate across locations and time zones to turn client requirements into secure, production-ready AWS Cloud, Data, and AI solutions. You will serve as the central connection between our U.S.-based enterprise clients, offshore engineering teams, and company leadership.
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Client Delivery Lead to own the day-to-day delivery of AWS Cloud, Data, and AI projects.
You will be the person clients trust, technical teams rely on for direction, and leadership depends on to keep engagements moving forward. You will lead client communication, technical discovery, delivery planning, and cross-functional coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
This role requires someone who has successfully delivered AWS-based projects from discovery through production and can confidently discuss cloud, data, and AI solutions with enterprise clients.
This is not an entry-level project management role. Candidates must be joining us directly from a comparable agency, consulting, or professional services environment where they managed technical delivery for external clients.
What You’ll Do
- Own client communication and relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client engagements.
- Lead technical discovery calls and solution discussions with U.S.-based enterprise clients.
- Translate business requirements into clear technical deliverables, milestones, and priorities.
- Coordinate offshore engineering teams and ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Take full ownership of project deliverables, schedules, dependencies, and milestone commitments.
- Manage milestone-based timesheets and maintain accurate delivery records.
- Track project scope, risks, timelines, budgets, and resource requirements.
- Identify and resolve delivery blockers before they affect clients or project outcomes.
- Coordinate across AWS Cloud, Data, AI, DevOps, QA, security, and other technical teams.
- Ensure deliverables meet agreed quality, security, compliance, and technical standards.
- Provide clear and timely project updates to clients, internal leadership, and stakeholders.
- Manage scope changes and set clear expectations regarding their impact on timelines and resources.
- Maintain accountability across project teams and drive projects toward successful completion.
- Support project handoffs, production readiness, go-live activities, and post-delivery reviews.
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering AWS-based projects from discovery through production.
- Previous experience working in an agency, technology services, consulting, or professional services company.
- Experience managing technical delivery for external enterprise clients.
- Background in a technical leadership role such as Solution Architect, Lead Engineer, Technical Delivery Lead, or a comparable position.
- Five to seven years of hands-on experience working with databases, data platforms, cloud technologies, or related solutions.
- Strong knowledge of AWS services, including S3, EC2 or ECS, IAM, VPC, and CloudWatch.
- Experience delivering data pipelines, data lakes, and ETL solutions using AWS Glue, Athena, Redshift, or similar technologies.
- Experience delivering AI/ML, generative AI, or AI agent solutions using Amazon SageMaker, Amazon Bedrock, or comparable platforms.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, and cloud-native architectures.
- Experience managing project scope, risks, dependencies, budgets, and delivery commitments.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Confidence leading technical and business discussions with enterprise clients.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate globally distributed teams.
- Availability and responsiveness during U.S. business hours.
Freelance-only backgrounds are not a fit for this position. Candidates must have experience working within a structured agency, consulting, technology services, or professional services environment.
Nice to Have
- An active AWS certification.
- Experience delivering projects through AWS Marketplace.
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Experience supporting clients in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or the public sector.
- Experience with application modernization, data warehouse modernization, intelligent automation, or AIOps.
- Experience managing offshore or globally distributed technical teams.
- Knowledge of Agile delivery practices and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Experience managing milestone-based billing and professional services engagements.
- Familiarity with security, compliance, and production-readiness requirements.
- Experience identifying opportunities to expand existing client engagements.
What Success Looks Like in 6–12 Months
Within Six Months
- Build trusted relationships with assigned enterprise clients.
- Take full ownership of active client engagements and delivery milestones.
- Establish clear communication and reporting across clients, leadership, and engineering teams.
- Improve visibility into scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, budgets, and project status.
- Ensure milestone-based timesheets and delivery records are complete and accurate.
- Reduce delivery blockers and prevent avoidable client escalations.
- Improve team accountability and coordination across distributed technical teams.
- Consistently deliver work that meets technical, quality, security, and client expectations.
Within Twelve Months
- Successfully deliver multiple AWS Cloud, Data, or AI projects from discovery through production.
- Become a trusted delivery partner for clients and internal leadership.
- Improve client satisfaction, delivery predictability, and project profitability.
- Establish repeatable delivery practices across client engagements.
- Strengthen collaboration and accountability across globally distributed teams.
- Identify opportunities to expand client relationships based on business needs and successful project outcomes.
- Contribute to the continued development of NuVista AI’s delivery standards, processes, and playbooks.
- Help position NuVista AI as a trusted provider of enterprise AWS Cloud, Data, and AI solutions.
